Group daycare

Playland Daycare's group daycare program encompasses the structured learning environment of a daily routine and preschool programming combined with the benefits of full day care; this allows for routine and learning but with flexibility to allow for exploration and discovery through free play.  The teachers promote a positive space for the learning and development of concepts such as basic shape identification, color identification, number identification and counting, name recognition, and the learning of the months, days of the week, and types of weather.  The group daycare program is designed for children 30 months to 5 years of age and runs from 7:30am-5:30pm.  Our group daycare center in made up of several different rooms dedicated to different areas of development for your child(ren).  Our main front room offers a variety of toys from lego to blocks and pet shop to trains.  This area also includes a quiet book area, where children are free to choose a book and take a body break from play. Our art room allows your child(ren)'s creativity to soar with the freedom to create their own art or follow the planned art project for the day.  This room also includes various toys and tools dedicated to fine motor development, sensory development, and preliminary concepts such as those listed in the preschool program.  Lastly, our "housekeeping room" allows your child to play out any type of imaginative game they may have on their minds; equipped with a variety of dress-up outfits, kitchen space, tents, and all the toys that allow your child(ren)'s ideas to come to life.  Overall, the group daycare program provides your child(ren) with a positive environment to grow, learn, play, and form friendships that can last into their first year of school.
